Our Head Chef, Crystal Green is born and bred on the Northern Rivers. She has built a career working in pubs and restaurants throughout the region. Crystal has selected as much local produce as possible in creating the menu. This is an endeavour to reduce miles travelled for product and showcase our commitment to keeping it local.
The menu reflects the various zones here @ The Met. Pub classics reign supreme for the bistro featuring something for all dietary requirements. A modern Mediterranean approach to fine dining in the restaurant to accompany handpicked wines and craft beers.

The old Metropole Hotel on Keen Street Lismore has become the new Hotel Metropole – thanks to new owners Kerrilee & Nick Lake.
Breathing life back into Lismore’s iconic venue – solar powered beer – local products – great food – awesome wine – even better cocktails – and of course, live music.
A venue for live music and local musicians, a great alfresco dining area, with an upstairs open air wine bar – with a view to the street below.
The rooftop wine bar is open to the sky – with cocktails and some craft beer. It’s gorgeous up here on the open patio, overlooking Keen Street, the Gollan and Mary G’s.
The New Hotel Metropole was originally opened in 1903 by the licensee, Mr. T. Graham Tile.
At the time, it was the largest NSW hotel north of Newcastle. The contractors for the building were Messrs. Brown and Jolly.
